Only 5 days left until I leave this hell I call Intermedia.net.
The things that annoy me about this job.
1. My manager. She is a high strung, has no idea how to manage, is just very very annoying.
2. No access to the tools I need to do my job. Pisses me off that I was never given access to administrate specific servers here. While our support staff in St. Petersburg, Russia were. This was my manangers doing. I told her it was unfair. She seemed not to care.
3. The commute. 30 miles one way. Getting up at 5:30am to be to work at 6:30 SUCKS. Killed my weeknights.
4. Phone Support. This job was mostly phone support. Teaching people who to configure outlook and troubleshoot why they cannot connect. At least with the new job I can just go to their desk and say "Excuse me, I'll fix that"
Sooo, it is a very good thing I am finally leaving here. It was nice to hear one of the sales guys tell me "I'm really sorry to hear that, Intermedia is losing one of its best technicians."
So the countdown begins!! 5!

Date: 2004-11-09 02:08 am (UTC)2.. I am sure I will have the tools I need to do my job
3.. The commute is only 10 miles.
4.. It is not 90% phone support.
Hmm, I am thinking it is going to be a total turn around from what I do now. That is what I expect.
