Was not enough money to put in my flex spending account for this year. I used that all up already, and I now just had to order refills for my current meds and have to pay a $230.00 co-pay. This is for 3 months supply of each, but still.
Ambien - To have just in case. I don't take this on a regular basis, but I have not ordered it in a year $60.00
Fexofenadine Hcl (Generic Allegra) - $25.00
Lipitor for cholesterol - $60.00
Omeprazole Caps for Acid Reflux $25.00
Benicar Hct - For high blood pressure $60.00
Might have to go for $1000.00 for next year. Ugh, I hate not being healthy.
On the good side, on July 14th I weighed 286, today I weigh 278, doc asked me to lose 4 lbs per month, and I am at 8 lbs right now.
I also have decided to go on the Nutrisystem diet to help me manage my food intake. I got the food in the mail today. Can't wait to taste it...LOL I will be starting tomorrow morning with breakfast. Most of the food I will be keeping at work since I will eat most breakfasts and lunches there, and probably most dinner items now.
The meals cost less then $10.00 a day, and you have to supplement them with fruits, veggies and dairy. Much less then I pay going out all of the time since I hardly ever cook at home. So this month to start out, I will not be doing lunch and dinners out. I want to get a good jump start at my new eating lifestyle. So we will see how it goes. I think I lost the last 4 lbs this past weekend being sick, since I started eating poorly the last couple of weeks. We will see how month 1 goes.

begin. I have attended 2 talks about stroke, and they really hit home. I have 3 controllable risk factors for stroke, and after seeing what Jeff has gone through, I realized there is so much I can do for that not to happen to me.
