Jeff visit

At Kaiser visiting Jeff now. He is very awake. He tried telling me something, so I grabbed the keyboard and the laptop. He was able to type... 'I just want to tell you that I live here'. I told him that he is only living here for a very short time until he is better. I told him that he will get better and I will be there helping him.

I turned the tv on and he seems interested in watching. He has been really bored and not wanting anything to entertain him, but I think it will help. Put on some sit-coms.

He had a headache so I massaged his head while we waited for the vicodin.

He knows where he is today, so that is better then him guessing yesterday.

I won't be able to see him Wed or Thursday nights, but AJ is heading down Wed and I am going to see if Luke is available for Thursday.

Hi Dave, like I was just a-tellin' ya on the phone, I wonder if "i just want to tell you that i live here" means "my brain is working, & I am HERE !"???

Don't know if it's true, but if we were writing a movie this would be the part where the music would swell and Julia Roberts' lips would tremble hugely.

It could also be that he is saying I just wanna tell you I love you, and just missed it. Who can say. More communication with him as time goes on will be good.

That is great news Dave!! Please let him know that we can't wait for him to be home.
