A long long time ago...

I lived in Orlando from 1992 - 1997. While I was there I discovered country dancing. YAY, men dancing with men. It is just nothing like disco boys!!

One day in 1996, a handsome bearded man asked me to dance. We danced quite a bit that weekend as I recall. I remember talking to him about being from out of town and that he was there in a show. Phantom of the Opera actually. I am sure many of you may guess where this is going.

He was in the cast and was the understudy for the lead I think he said. Well if you have not guessed, it was our very own mrdreamjeans

I was reminded of this last night as I was talking to him at Sundance Saloon. He mentioned being in Phantom and I asked if he played in Whorelando. Sure enough, 1996, when I lived there and was dancing there. He vagely remembers it as well, so I don't feel as bad for not remembering him. So many men.

Just goes to show you, since we are talking about Orlando, o/' It's a small world after all!! o/'

Mr. SF Bear Contest

John Caldera, the owner of Mr. Bay Area Cub, and Mr. San Francisco Bear approached me at the Lone Star yesterday. He said he wanted me to help him produce this years Mr. San Francisco Bear contest. He said though that he would like to make it a benefit for Breast Cancer. I guess the BCEF since that is the organization that Momma promotes.

While of course I am up for the task, I am wondering if people would get turned off by the idea of the beneficiary. Your thoughts??
