Ft. Lauderdale here I come

I am going there mostly for a country dance convention called the Spring Break Hoedown. I have been dancing now for 12 years, and enjoy it very much. I am actually doing 3 dance conventions this year. Dallas in July, and San Francisco in October. Then in 2006 I am already planning for NYC Memorial Day weekend.
I am really really excited about seeing my friendufcub!! Ken and I met at Southern Decadence in 2001. He was my good luck charm when I won the Mr. American Bear title in Dallas in 2002. We have just been the best long distance buddies ever!!! He is not much of a dancer, but he is so interested in it. It will be great to teach him how!! I love that guy!!!
I will also get to see many other people that I only get to see at these conventions. These conventions to me are great places to catch up with old friends you have made, and make new friends you hope to see at future events. Plus the dancing just makes it that much better!
Some may not know this, but I am the Webmaster for the International Association of Gay/Lesbian Country Western Dance Clubs. I manage the web server that hosts many of the clubs websites and email. It is a great task I have been doing since 1997.
Soo I am really looking forward to this trip to see my friends, relax and just have a good time!!! Of course, the trip will be too short (4 days and one of them is mostly travel) but it will be well worth it.
