Atkins week 1

Well, I did it, I started Atkins, a week ago yesterday. Well, then I cheated on Sunday night. Then again on Tuesday. Then on Wednesday I stayed on it until Sunday, when I decided I was going to drop it. Because I just cannot go on without pasta, and bread, and all the carb stuff I like.

Well, I stepped on the scale at the gym on Monday and WOW, I lost 9lbs. Just when I was gonna give it up, I get that boost and decide to keep going on it. OMG it is so rough. But if I want to be healthy, I need to take off some of this weight.

Once I get down to my goal, I am going to really watch what I eat, and work out on a very regular basis, including cardio and lifting to tone up some. I certinally don't want to muscle up too much. Just not interested.

Lights, Camera, Action

Well, if you did not know, I am going to be in a documentary on Bears, the culture and contests. All ending IBR weekend. I am one of 4 bears who were chosen across the country to be a part of this film. The film company is Rock Hard Films out of NY. Sounds porn, but they mostly do music videos.


I have not had 2 days where a cam was on me. One was the Beer Bust at Lone Star for BOSF. They captured me selling raffle tickets. And you know how men are. They like to have thoes inseams measured.

The 2nd time now was this past Saturday. Niko arrived at my place at 10am and we headed on out to breakfast at Burger King. Well lunch anyways. He found it interesting I was eating my Chicken sammich with a fork. It was very umm interesting having a cam in your face while you are eating.

We then went to a costume shop in Berkeley. Nice shop, but the staff admitted they didn't like helping people. They said we could film, then after I picked out my costume, said we could not. Go figure.

It was off to Men's Warehouse for my "formal wear" They said "sure come on in." The cute sales guy was soooo nervous. By this time Richard and I had gotten used to the camera being on us and just about stopped paying attention to it. Well, the tickle attack he instigated certinally was for the cam. HI MOM!!!

We then went to a couple of shoe stores. We found the things we needed. YAY my costumes are almost all complete.

Niko is going to spend another few times with me. Including a trip to my dentist to get my new Invisalign trays, the gym for my workout, Sundance Saloon to tape my volunteer involvement, and Foggy City dance graduation on the 10th. I know someone who will love the attention.

So there you have it. I will of course let you all know where the documentary will be aired.
