Wishing I were home.

The only think about working 10 - 7 I do not like is how slow it is around here. Well, gives me time to do other things.

Hmm got up, 7am. I can't figure out why Richard is going to bed before I am and getting up before I do. This was so unlike him until very recently. He has ALWAYS fought to be the last to go to bed. Oh well.

We went and worked out today. Elliptical for 18 mins or less, and then upper body work out. We talked to a trainer. We can get 6 one hour sessions with her for $450.00. That is $75.00/hour, or $35.00 per session per person. What a deal!! Funny, I gave her our card and she made some Sister Power comment. Umm, Like we didn't know she was a lesbian. But that term... um that is sooo last Millennium.

We are slowly increasing our weights. I have gotten a point where I can't finish the last set of the pec workout. Hmmm, gonna get all muscle and get an attitude.... NOT. I do this because I am overweight, over stressed, and have way too much fat cells in my blood. It is apparent to me that people are happy with me looking the way I do. But honestly, I have this self issue with my mid section. Nothing that keeps me in however.

I chatted with bigreddee today. So nice to chat with him. He is so smart and cute!!! Mmmm let me go into fantasy land for a minute......... Ahhh that was nice!!! Always wanted to catch a movie with him, but never got to. I liked many of the movies he listed in his top 20.

So yesterday Richard says to me "You never worry about anything." If you don't know me, I am one of the most laid back people you will ever meet. I hardly ever get upset about anything. If I do, it does not last for long, and is usually with very very good reason. Hell, Richard and I have not had a single blow out in the 2 years we have been together. Great communication. Plus, I can read him like a book. I always know when something is bothering him. But there was one big worry I had and that was before getting my job. I was getting really nervous and depressed about it. So I am capable of getting worried.

So I am going Square Dancing tonight with the El Camino Reelers. They are a fun group. There is one particular bearish dancer there who I would love to just umm. Well.... Also, fuzzygruf said he would be there. I love dancing with him. He is amazing.

REJECT FAKE FREE CHECKING!!! YEAH RIGHT!

Remember those nice fabulous billboard ad's from Washington Mutual Finance?? Well, I fell for the ad. I thought, cool a local bank that offers Free checking. All I have to do is deposit some money and there I am.

Well, after opening the account, and paying for checks, we started our journey with Wamu.

Where to start. oh yeah, Bill Pay. Now I thought that free checking should come with Free Bill Pay. Nope $5.00/month Not to mention, their bill pay system is hella slow.

Online banking. Great, online banking, a good thing. What about copies of checks? You would think that with this being the 21st century that they would have check images with the click of a button. But nope. Not only do you not get that, but if you want more then 3 check copies, they charge you for the check and for time to research to find them.

One last item of interest are ATM charges. I find it funny that WaMu allows anyone to use their ATM's for free. Which means, I could take a Bank of America Card to their ATM, get out money, and WaMu will not charges me a fee. Of course BOA probably will. However, if I take my WaMu ATM card to Bank of America, not only will Bank of America charge me, but so will WaMu. How annoying they will not charge other customers to use their machines, but they charge their own customers to use others.

Free checking. Um I think not!!!!

Now, if you really want TOTALLY FREE CHECKING, you should check out http://www.netbank.com They offer everything free, AND their standard checking account is an interesting bearing account. They offer Free Bill Pay and the system is pretty fast. They also do not charge you for using other banks ATM's. So you can use your atm card at Washington Mutual and not get charged at all.

The only downfall is they have no branches. It is a totally online bank. You can make deposits at banks around the country, but they can take up to 5 days to clear. They do however provide pre-paid envelopes so you can mail check deposits to them. I had an account with them for a few years, then got suckered into the WaMu Fake Free Checking. Well, I re-opened my account and will be very happy to be back with them.

Enough about them. Reject Fake Free Checking. Reject Washington Mutual!!!
