Birthday Cake

dhbearguyIt never seems to amaze me how when you go somewhere and find there is a birthday, that the cake 90% of the time has a whipped topping frosting. Nothing like the frosting my grandma used to make. It is bland, and the texture is just not what I think belongs on a cake. Cake should be sweet butter cream frosted. WIth a great texture. What is the draw of having whipped topping which goes great with strawberries and Pumpkin Pie on a birthday cake. Oh and by the way, if anyone is planning a cake for me for my birthday which is umm Friday, no whipped topping please.
Texasfurr, Tecwizsfo, and Ricksf, and I are all going to see the Kinsey Sicks on my birthday. Nice treat since I have never seen them. I hear they are funny.
