It was one experience that lasted a year and a half actually. It was someone I actually went to school with but didn't really talk to.

The first time was very interesting. We were making out and both really turned on. At the moment I didn't even have to think about a guy. but when she said "Make love to me" I lost my erection. I didn't know that my parents already knew I was gay. My mom told me at age 22 that she had known since I was about 16. The reason I was with the woman was to keep from my family what they already knew.

Funny you ask this. I was just talking to my buddy Sam about this yesterday at lunch. Everyone knows I love being the center of attention. This I believe is because growing up I was soooo shunned by the people in my community. I seem to show that everytime I am out. I started SF Moviebears. I teach country line dancing. I am not afraid to take charge.

I would like to end up some kind of community planner of some sort. While staying with the career I have as a support person. I volunteer so much of my time to the community through various organizations.

I would love to be as visible as Harry Lit. Planning things like he does and giving it all back to the community.

So in short. Make money in my regular career to be comfortable, which I am right now. And be a planner for the community.

Are you doing this to satisfy your need to be visible? Or do you care about the folks you do this for/to/with?

I really care about people in general. There are so many amazingly nice people in our community. I found that in the 2+ years I lived in SF that I have met more people then the 5 years I lived in Texas. Not sure why that is.

I get a sense of "I did a good thing" when I help at charity events. I'm not rich and I cannot donate lots of money to organizations, so I donate my time! Everyone knows that time is valuable.

My need to be visible? Well, I can fill that by just being me out anywhere!
