Well, what a really nice New Years Eve.
After getting out of work, Richard and I went to Firewood in the Castro for dinner. We then proceeded to
glovercom and Steve's party. Lots of people we know, including Dr. Brad from Dallas. It was great to see him again. Once day I will get out in Dallas to see him too. Ran into my favorite square dancing buddy
fuzygruff
We decided to head on out to the Lone Star for our annual ringing in of the New Year. It was a fun night for me. ONe of the nights of the year that I actually have a few drinks. I ran into some fun people. Michael from El Camino Reelers, Greg and Eric, good friends of mine,
texasfurr and
iahklu, Jose, Rich, Mark, Darwin, Ron. Hmm, all these bears I know. Also met some great new folks. Howdy Tim, David, and Jeff.
Richard decided to head home early, and Texasfurr offered to make sure I got home okay. iahklu is a really sweet guy. And really woofy too!!! We rang in 2004, Hugs for everyone!!! I met someone who had more hair on their back then I do. What an interesting feeling. I really understand what you guys like about back hair. WOOF.
texasfurr and I dropped off
iahklu and headed out to Daddy's Bar. Woofy Nick was working tonight in his vest only and jeans. I met someone from that BAR who was pissed that John Caldera did not get info to him about my win of Mr. S.F. Bear. I plan on keeping in contact with this guy. Good publicity for events. We then headed over to the Edge and I ran into Kyle the bartender, and chatted up his cute boyfriend Jeremy, who is just learning to dance at Sundance Saloon.
We headed on home and my bear was there waiting for me on the sofa, and he was sooo sleepy. We headed to bed and snuggled each other to sleep. Just the way it should be.
Woofs all.
