Ain't technology grand?
Aug. 27th, 2007 10:15 amIn June I switched my cell service from Sprint PCS to ATT
I liked Sprint just fine, but I decided it was time for a new phone and didn't want to spend the money for a Treo, so I got a Blackjack. I like it.
When I ported my phone number over to ATT I was unable to access my June and July bills from Sprint online. I have requested they re-print my bills 3 times now and send them to me, the latest being the 7th of August. It is now 20 days later, and I have not gotten them. I did get an August bill in the mail which showed a credit of $2.72 and I even got a check from them in that amount.
So I have spent over 3 hours so far trying to reach customer service to get copies of the bills. I am trying now to get them to use some technology like a printer and a fax machine to send them to me. This is 2007 after all. You would think they could click print since they can see the bill. And then go to a fax machine and send it to my fax number. I am sure this is not normal procedure since they keep telling me they have never done that, but it is a simple solution to a customer who has a right to see what he is being charged for.
My biggest thing is making sure that I was only charged for service up to my transfer date, and I believe that is not the case. But I won't know until I see the actual bill.
