I really like the Lowes Metreon. Nice theatres, easy to get to. But run so poorly. I have been waiting for RENT tickets to go on sale so I can go buy 95 of them for opening night. I finally got the name of the manager who handles the "movie schedules" so I can maybe talk to him about future runs like this. They scheduled the Tuesday midnight showing of RENT already, but not Wednesday's. I called and the guy that answered said the manager was supposed to be in at 9am, but has not shown up yet.

Maybe a call up the line will do some good.
We will have to see.

On thanksgiving I'll be hanging out with a vegetarian and a friend who's allergic to poultry.

Thanks to bearbratBearbrat for information for a pre-screaning of RENT at the Presedio theatre for tonight. Unfortunally, the theater only let in about 75 people, and we were like 120th in line. Apparantly, "Just Friends" was using the bigger auditorium, but I think had way less people waiting.

Around 6:15 I checked Fandango, and saw that they FINALLY posted movie times for RENT on Wednesday. Only took all day. They are so out of touch with reality, it is not even funny. I mean, really, I bring them over 100 people to a movie. That is a good chunk of change in consessions for them, but they were so unhelpful on the phone.

I got there around 8:30 and walked up and said 95 tickets to RENT Wednesday night, 7:40pm. He said "Your kidding" I smiled. It took about 10 minutes for the tickets to print. On top of that, he had to void all of the passes. Their has to be an easier way for THEM to deal with this, but until they offer up a solution, I'm just gonna keep on doing what I do.

So we are a go for RENT!!
