Fun day today
Apr. 22nd, 2004 06:04 pmSpent the day with Kirk today. He is such a great guy to hang around. We have lots in common. We had lunch at the Sausage Factory, then went down to the pier and were going to go to Alcatraz. The next boat was out at 4:20 so we decided on the Wax Museum anyways.
One of the first things you see when you get inside is Hitler. I think they should move the tyrants to the middle somewhere. When we saw Fidel Castro, I thought of
tecwizsfo because everyone says he looks like him. I saw it a little. A lot of the images were freaky in that they looked like they could come alive. Some did not do well representing actors, like Jim Carey. Julia Robets was dead on, and Michael Jackson was just so far off. But then again, maybe 15 years ago, he might have looked like that.
Donnie and Marie, they did good with them. Kirk made some comment about breaking out into song. So I started to sing. "I'm a little bit country". Kirk laughed and said he meant Donnie's role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Which as a show tune queen, I love! Cheezy cheezy. As a matter of fact, that show is playing at City collges for the next week and a half. Anyone interested in going?
We left the wax place and headed for ice cream, then off to the end of a pier. Well part way, got to hot and sunny. I am a little red. I then almost fell in the bay when I was climbing on some rocks to find out how cold the water was, and the rocks shifted. I would not have been a happy bear.
After that I dropped him off at Bart and here I am.
Now Kirk is one of them guys who does not fool around with married men. Damn it for me. I certinally am way attracted to him. But I am greatful to have him as a friend. He is a really great guy.
Going to the Foggy City Dancers club night tonight. Rich Reel is calling and he will call up to class level, so it should be a good time. That is all from me for now.
hugs
