Allergies

SO lately, I have been having some kind of allergy attack. It started one night several weeks ago. I started to feel all itchy and these welts appeared all over my body. They have not been that intense since then, but some welts appear here and there. Last night I woke up and was scratching at some. Today during lunch, my lower lip started to feel all tingly, like I had just had a dentist visit. Hmm, actually, I Did visit my dentist, but there was no novacain involved.

SO during lunch, my lip just keep swelling up, and my body started to feel itchy, and in the center of my chest, I was having pains. No numbness in my left arm, so I was thinking maybe this allergy is affecting my lungs. Right after lunch , I went and bought some Sudafed. Took 2 and drove home and laid down on the sofa. Napped for like 3 or 4 hours on and off. I never nap. That stuff knocked me out.

So I am wondering what could be doing this? We have a cat, and I have a mild allergy to him, but he has never affected me this severely. I guess I should just make a doc apt and let him figure it out.
