While I was in Atlanta, I met this really great guy. He and I have talked on the phone every day since I got back. We chat online.

We met online a few months ago, and I was really hoping I would get to meet him. We met in person on Thursday of my trip in Atlanta. We had a great lunch, great converstaion. We clicked right away. He's sweet and genuine, and handsome to boot.

He had a busy Friday and Saturday, but met up with me at the dance at the hotel on Sunday evening. We ended up spending the night and most of Monday together. It was truly a great time. Someone I really connected with. I miss him lots and am trying to work out when we can see each other again really soon.

It seems to always be the case that you meet someone really special that lives half or all the way across the country. But you know what, sometimes people are worth the try.

I was glad to be there to see it all blossom. You two really did seem connected.

And speaking from experience in this.. just from the flip side of the country, with my heart reaching out to your city (funny how that worked out), I definitely echo that finding something TRULY special is WELL worth the effort of exploration. Obstacles can be overcome. It just takes time, patience, communication, and a hellaofalotta LOVE :) And it sure as hell feels amazing :)

Having been there fairly recently myself - I agree! When you connect with someone like that, you need to see how it works out.

Glad to hear you had a great time! :)

Hell, I had to import mine from Canada, so I know how you feel. And now we're working on another from several states away...

And, yes, definitely worth the try.

It's worth it! I did it and truthfully, even though I joke alot about it, I don't regret it. Even if it doesn't work out, you still might have a special friend who will always be in your life.

I agree 100%. It is definitely worth the try, regardless of the physical distance between you.
