Had a pretty busy holiday week.
Monday - Went to see a pre-screening of Casanova with Heath Ledger. I thought it was a fun movie. Mike went with me on short notice and he enjoyed it as well.

Tuesday - Worked in San Mateo, then got back to the city and had dinner with [livejournal.com profile] backawayslowly at Chevy's. He is always such a fun person to be around. I then headed over to Club 1220 in Walnut Creek to teach one of my favorite line dances, "Chill Factor"

Wednesday night, went to see King Kong with Mike since I was invited to a party on Thursday. It was a long movie, but I enjoyed it.

Thursday - Worked most of the day, then helped [livejournal.com profile] castrowoof get [livejournal.com profile] dacubsf out of his house and into the hospital! Ed dropped me off on Market and I met [livejournal.com profile] beg1n for dinner at Red Jade. I did not care too much for their Orange Chicken. I then headed to [livejournal.com profile] sgtchuck's 50th birthday party. Thanks Chuck for the invite. It was great to see many people I knew there. My tummy was not agreeing with me, so I left at 8:20, went home and crashed. Thanks also to my rampagebearTicket Bitch for handeling moviebears. You rock!

Friday - Worked until 3pm. It was very slow at work. Headed to Starbears in the Castro since I didn't have anything else to do until later that evening. Went to the Edge for Happy Hour and waited for [livejournal.com profile] squalidbear to show up and by me a drink. That never happened!! Damn her for being unpredictable! Had nice chats with Justin and Sean, and believe they are going to head to Guerneville next weekend. Met up again with [livejournal.com profile] beg1n and had dinner at the Sausage Factory. Yummmmy! Headed back to his place and took the J-Church to [livejournal.com profile] smiley_kiley and [livejournal.com profile] nakednsf's party. Tom was not naked, dang it!! It was great to meet some new folks and to have some quality chat time with squalidbearJohn Thanks for the lift home John. Thanks for the great party Ed and Tom.

Saturday, met up with Sam and he and I did a little shopping. We had lunch downtown, then came home and spent the rest of the day relaxing. We got to Safeway just in time before they closed to get something for dinner.

Christmas Day, spent the day with Sam. Went to Safeway early and got stuff for dinner. Headed over to [livejournal.com profile] beg1n's who had asked if I would drive his car to take [livejournal.com profile] iahklu to the airport. We got him there safe and sent him on his way. Jeff dropped Sam and I off at my place and he headed home. Sam and spent some of the day playing with his video camera and sock puppets doing a little comedy routine called Queer Wars, originally performed by Cheech and Chong a long time ago. I remember listening to this as a kid, and my twin and I used to act out this routine all of the time. If you have not seen the video and would like to, let me know, and I will get it to ya. We felt accomplished and amused.

Later, beg1nJeff came over and we had dinner. I made him ham and Sam and I had turkey. We then played a game of "Scene It" the DVD based movie trivia game. It is a pretty fun game!! Hope to have a game night with a few friends soon at my place.

Made it an early night and headed to bed.

Today - Got up late and chatted much of the morning. Sam, [livejournal.com profile] boyshapedbox and I are going to see Wolf Creek, then later dim-sum pizza with [livejournal.com profile] rampagebear and his entourage.

While it does sound like a very busy week, it has actually been very very relaxing.

Hope your holiday went well for you all!

So I thought I would be creative and create a sock puppet video of a comedy parody of Star Wars that was done by Cheech and Chong in 1980. I talked to a couple of people who saw the video and they said they were confused. So simple story is, This is a sock puppet performance of an audio sketch! The sketch appeared on Cheech and Chong's "Lets Make a New Dope Deal" album wihch my twin and I played endlesly when we were 14! It was fun making the puppets and making them perform with the audio track. I was hoping it would spawn others to create their own sock puppet video's!

So, if you care to see it, you can get it Here

I do hope it at least makes you smile. Sam worked on this with me, and he is the puppet on the left, and he did very well with the reactions.
