39th birthday in review!
Jul. 10th, 2005 10:42 amMy birthday started out great. Ken and I headed to breakfast at Sparky's. He had never eaten there.
ufcub is a great friend who I will always love! And umm he is very very popular!! Everyone is asking me about him. Don't blame them.
We then headed to
texasfurr's place, and used
iahklu's car to go to Richard and Trey's to inventory the camping equipment so we could make sure we had everything we need for the upcoming lazy bear weekend.
We figured out what we needed and headed to Target. Jeff suggested Costco, but I said they probably didn't have much camping stuff left. So we bought a couple of tents, and some other items we needed to make everyone comfortable.
After dropping off everything, we took Jeff home and
ufcub and I headed on to the Castro for a slice of pizza.
We ran in to John of John and Joe and Kyle. I had to practically pry
ufcub away from Kyle to get him to continue our mission of getting ready for the evening's festivities. We went to Injeanious to get me some shades and I bought a t-shirt appropriate for the evening.
Went back to my place and got ready to go back to the Castro.
On our way to the Sausage Factory, Ken commented about all the hot men in town. I spotted this hottie on the corner as we were waiting to cross the street. I nudged Ken and he looked and about fell over!!! Said that was fantasy material.
The guy followed us into the Sausage Factory and we found out that a couple of my guests invited him. Good for us for damn sure!!!
6:00pm - Arrived at the Sausage Factory. Sam the boyfriend had a long table all decorated out with party hats, and noise makers. Several people were already there. It was great. Everyone else showed up and we sat down and had dinner.
Now the who's who list. I saw
sflonestar,
dacubsf,
backawayslowly,
texasfurr, Mark, Bill, John, Eric, Jim G,
bearhound,
ufcub,
rampagebear, Greg C., Dave, Daniel, Sam,
dhbearguy,
tonymorg,
bvig01, Dave, Richard,
arkanjil,
boobehr! WHEW what a list.
castrowoof and a friend of his showed up to say hi. Thanks Ed.
After dinner and cake and a FABULOUS rendition of Happy birthday by all these hot men, we all headed to the Mint for a special Dave's Karaoke party!!
It was a hoot. Several people sang from the group. I sang Popular from Wicked,
backawayslowly and I put on wigs and sang, "What is this Feeling" from the same show.
backawayslowly also did Don't Cry for Me San Francisco, which he does fabulously!!!! I heart you Dave. Especially for doing the wicked number with me. It was fun.
rampagebear and
boobehr sang, I got you babe. which I did not get a recording of. As well as some other songs that were done.
tonymorg did a fabulous dedication to Sam and I of Hello by Lionel Ritchie.
bvig01 finished us off with "I get a kick out of you" I love you guys. You were all great.
Others who showed up to the Mint were
kevin_v5,
enhydrasf who I tried to get singing something from Avenue Q but he would not do it.
markosf, and Mark P.
At about 10:15pm we headed to the Lonestar Saloon. People were already getting ready to make sure I was not wearing the shirt I had on that said "It's all about me" when the midnight hour came. I got there and got birthday greetings from many guys. Bobby at the back bar Yelled Happy Birthday to me and bought me my first drink. Sam, Ken and I had a shot. And it was out back to just hang out and have fun. I thought for sure that I was going to get to midnight without a spanking, but that damn markosf kept pressing the issue. SO I bent over and took my punishment. I refused to drop my pants but everyone one took turns getting in my 39 and one to grow on whacks. Thanks to Henndog for the multiple fast easy whacks. You must have used up about 15 of them. And of course Sam got the one to grow on whack.
At midnight, I was still not drunk and told
rampagebear that he was failing on his mission to get me shitfaced. I actually stood there without a drink for a full 10 minutes. Oh Rampage, I think we need to take your Lush title away!! You still have time to redeem yourself of course. Also at midnight everyone helped take my shirt off since it was no longer my birthday and no longer all about me. Heheh, How naive you all are!! giggle!
I got tired really fast and Sam and I decided it was time to head home. I said my goodbye's and thank you's to everyone for making my birthday so awesome and memorable. Oh and I got to hug tall hunky handsome Martin from Canada who is here for Lazy Bear!! He is very sweet. Look for him at Camp Bears Gone Wild.
Most special thanks to my boyfriend Sam for making my birthday the best ever. And to everyone else who showed up too. You are all very special to me. You are all the reason why I can not imagine ever living anywhere else but San Francisco, CA. I love you all!!
