1) Tell me three things you have always wanted to do but haven't (yet), either due to fear or financial constraint.
1. Go on a Gay cruise (Financial)
2. Travel Internationally (Financial)
3. Ride the Sky Coaster at a theme park (Total fear of heights)
2) Do you tend to feel more self-conscious in a group of gay men or straight women?
I do not feel self conscious around straight women at all. I don't want anything from them, and they seem to not want anything from me. I tend NOT to feel self conscious in a group of men either. Not anymore. I think teaching country dancing has really helped me overcome that. Now when I get around some guys I find amazingly HOT, then that is when the self conscious hits!! Like the day I met you!!
3) Since the time you have come out as a gay man, what one thing about your personality (and/or your life outlook), has changed the most since that time?
My self esteem. When I first came out I had very low self esteem. I felt so ugly and un-wanted. A friend of mine noticed how much I have grown in that respect over the years. I may not be totally happy with the way I look (is anyone really??) but I feel good about who I am. Something I could not say at the time I came out!
4) You always seem like a laid-back guy to me. So tell me one sure-fire way to piss you off.
This was an easy one to come up with. DON'T FUCK WITH MY FAMILY! I was in a very controlling relationship for 3 years. (95-98) After I broke it off, my ex called my Mother and told her that I was tricking around during our relationship and brought crabs home. My mother was livid and called me. I went off on the guy! I had never been so mad in my life!! If he wants to spread rumors about me to his friends, that is one thing, but to drag my family into it, that is totally crossing the line.
5) What's the most unusual place that you've had sex?
In a server room of the company I worked for in Texas! It was just oral. But then there was a trip on the way to San Jose from the Lone Star on NYE 2001 - 2002. We stopped at the guys office and got it on over his desk! IT WAS HOT and unexpected!
