TOTAL EXCITEMENT

I just got a call from ufcub. He said, soo what airport is best to fly into. I said SFO of course. He is coming for Lazy Bear Weekend!! He said.. Can you pick me up? I said, of course. I will make that happen. He said good, I am coming in on July 8th!! *SHOCK* Lazy Bear is not until the following weekend. He is coming in to celebrate my birthday with me on July 9th!! Leaving Tuesday the 19th!! HE ROCKS!!! I am really happy now!! He is so good to me. I love it because we will get to go dancing at Sundance for 2 Sundays. YAY Love you Ken!!!

The things I do for bears!

So, I mentioned to someone that I have lost money on the SFMoviebears thing. And he replied that he didn't think I did because I got all this money donated in the beginning.

So here is the scoop.

I raised about $150.00 from solicitations. This allowed me to purchase thirty (30) $5.00 movie passes. With the number of people attending recently, I have raised that number to 50. That comes to $100.00 I put in to make sure that eveyone can get a discount ticket.

On top of that, I get charged a shipping fee ranging from $3.00 - $15.00 every week when I order more tickets. I am not collecting these fees from anyone, they are coming out of my pocket. The $15.00 would be if we did an opening night and I needed to have the discount tickets shipped to me overnight for a short RSVP.

So if anyone has thought, (I am sure you have not), SF Moviebears is NOT a money making venture for me at all. But I have been really enjoying doing it, and have been very happy with attendance! I feel like I have accomplished something good!!!
