I'll give bear dinner night one more go!
Oct. 21st, 2004 01:10 pmWell, I had a great fun time at Hooters last night. But the fun was not worth the money I paid for others to eat and drink.
It cost me $25.00 for my $13.00 meal. I almost got screwd last time I went. to Chevy's
I even spoke up at the beginning and said. Alcohol on it's own. Then they proceded to add the totals togeter and divide by whatever.
Now someone once said "It all works out in the end" I am thinking. Ummm no. I will never drink, how will it ever work out for me.
So Pyro and I had this idea if we do go again.
We bring notpads with us. Have one of us go to every person and take their order on a seperate piece of paper, drinks and food. Appetisers all on one. Shared Alcohol on one (pitchers).
Give them to the wait staff. Have them bring them back and we calculate each person's total. That way, you get what you pay for, or is that pay for what you get. Again, it is not fair to have to pay for someone elses drinks, when you yourself never drink. We will see next time around. I was a waiter, and when I had a party of 20 that wanted seperate checks, I did not even blink.
Thanks for letting me rant.
