Boom!

So yesterday when I was dressing for less at Ross, there was commotion on the streets near Powell Station. Lots of people, Market street blocked off.

When I was on the phone with my boyfriend Sam, We both heard some explosion of some sort. Now I know why!!

United oversell

Soo, the boyfriend and I and his friend Paul are off to Vegas for the weekend. The flight left at 7:15pm. As you can see, I am not on it. They were oversold by 10 seats. I gave them my board pass and got on the jet bridge with Sam and Paul. I asked Sam if he would be mad if I took the bump because they were still begging for 1 more person. He said he would not be mad or disappointed since he knew I wanted to use the free ticket I would get to go visit my Mom later in the fall. I didn't think I was going to get to see her this year.

Soo I got off the jet bridge and told them I would do it. They took my card and told me to have a seat. They called me and gave me my pass and said to get on the plane. Dammit!! No sooner then I got sat in my window seat and Wink at Sam sitting 2 rows behind me that they called my name and told me to bring my belongings. YAY. Free ticket for me. Free meal, and a seat in row 2B. on the next flight.

Sooo 2 hours to sit here and surf and watch DVD's not a bad deal for a free airline ticket.
