American Airlines and MY Safety
Mar. 28th, 2005 02:10 pmSo last night I got to DFW airport with about 30 minutes to spare to get from Terminal A to Terminal C to catch my flight. By the time I got there, they had not started boarding. So much for taking BART home.
After we all got on, we waited, and waited, and waited, until the pilot announced that the plane was being taken out of service because they could not resolved a mechanical issue. Lots of groans. I was like. Ohh, maybe they won't have a new plane for us and I can stay over in Dallas. No luck. They had one.
After we got on the new plane, I heard one guy talking to another and he said "This is just wrong, I am writing a letter to AA".
I got out my laptop and wrote my own letter to AA which I will put in the mail tomorrow.
The letter said THANK YOU!! Thank you for making sure that I was on a plane that was not going to fall out of the sky. Well not in them words. But you get the point.
I would rather get there late, then crash and die!
