Burn, Sundance, Annoying car alarm!, blown tire.
And annoying car alarms.
*Burn*
Yesterday Sam and I went to Golden Gate Park. I rode the bike the
texasfurr let have and Sam rollerbladed. It was such a beautiful day. After biking a while, we headed to the roller-disco area, threw out a blanket and relaxed. It was awesome. I was wearing a tank top, and should know better then to let my fair white skin be exposed to the sun for any length of time. Hence the result.
*Sundance*
Sundance Saloon was fun. I had a great class for "Do Your Thing" A very "Jazzy" dance. Done to the song "Do Your Thing" by Basement Jaxx. This is either a dance you love, or you hate! When I finished, I had a couple come up to me and tell me what a great job I did teaching it. They said my teaching style is awesome and that they like the way I break things down and explain it. Another person said "You must have had some church growing up" Since the dance has some big jazz hands moves. I laughed and said.. "No not really, I have a buddy who comes here and inspires me to not keep my joy and passion inside." I BLAME YOU MARK for making me a big jazz hands dancing bear!! Had many dances. It was a very fun night. To
mrdreamjeans, it was really nice to see you last night on your last night in town. It was nice to get to know you just a little more then last time you were in town. It was also nice to take
sflonestar for a spin on the dance floor. You hear the music, you have the rhythm, just get out there and practice practice practice.
*Annoying Car Alarm*
I was sleeping so well last night, then around 6am, this car starts honking it's horn. Now I thought it was actually a person, because the honking was very sporadic. But it would stop then start again. I looked out my window towards Valencia to see a black pick up with it's lights flashing. For almost 30 minutes this thing honked. So much for sleeping till 7:00. I was tempted to get up and call a tow company and have them haul it away. Or leave a note on the truck that said "Fix your fucking alarm" I digress. Maybe if it happens another night!
*Blown Tire*
So I was going to ride the bike to work today. Another nice day in SF, good exercise. YAY. Got down to the street and noticed the back tire was flat. Found a piece of glass in the tire. DAMMIT!! Took the bike back up and took Muni. Now I have to stop at a bike shop, get a tire kit, take the wheel off, blah blah blah, you know the rest. Oh well. The joys of bike riding!!!
Today will be another day!!

Also, if you have time tonight, soak the burned areas in cool water (bathtub for 20 minutes every 2 hours)it helps draw the heat away from the skin and shrink the capillaries...then put the gel on.
