So you like to be a leader and a planner...

Are you doing this to satisfy your need to be visible? Or do you care about the folks you do this for/to/with?

I really care about people in general. There are so many amazingly nice people in our community. I found that in the 2+ years I lived in SF that I have met more people then the 5 years I lived in Texas. Not sure why that is.

I get a sense of "I did a good thing" when I help at charity events. I'm not rich and I cannot donate lots of money to organizations, so I donate my time! Everyone knows that time is valuable.

My need to be visible? Well, I can fill that by just being me out anywhere!
