Just be aware that lj-cut-for-spoilers is only for time-zone differences. After it's aired from Eastern to Hawaiian time, it's fair game to be openly talked-about.
A movie is completely different - it airs continually for weeks and people go to see it at their leisure. I'm not going to go out of my way simply because someone doesn't want to watch a TV show when it originally airs.
Well, I'd say it's more about the behaviors it's creating in the people who have them. There's this idea that "oh no, you can't talk about this or that because I have it Tivo'd and haven't watched it yet." Well, I'm tired of censoring myself because of it - especially when it's a week after the original airing and they STILL haven't watched it.
