It took me a long time to finally tune in to PR. I just couldn't imagine what I'd find interesting about it. Finally, I had TiVo grab an episode for me in the middle of last season. Then... I was assimilated.

How are you competing? Movie night conflict? That's what TiVos are for.

Yeah, the die-hard PR folks will skip Movie Bears for PR. However, I have 100 going to see Pirates toinght, so it is not that bad.

Yep, I know you're going to lose my attendance for awhile...it's my favorite reality show by far!

The key is, aside from the occasional drama, the show is all about what they manage to pull off in 24-48 hours. Some of the clothes are simply squeal-worthy (and some are so hideous you have to laugh).

I got Bravo for the roomie who is going to record it. There is really no show I would insist on being home for if I can watch it later on the DVR. That's just me.

Just be aware that lj-cut-for-spoilers is only for time-zone differences. After it's aired from Eastern to Hawaiian time, it's fair game to be openly talked-about.

Just because a movie comes out, doesn't mean everyone saw it opening night.

A movie is completely different - it airs continually for weeks and people go to see it at their leisure. I'm not going to go out of my way simply because someone doesn't want to watch a TV show when it originally airs.

Well, I'd say it's more about the behaviors it's creating in the people who have them. There's this idea that "oh no, you can't talk about this or that because I have it Tivo'd and haven't watched it yet." Well, I'm tired of censoring myself because of it - especially when it's a week after the original airing and they STILL haven't watched it.
