Raising the flag

I'm at city hall waiting for Gavin to come out and raise the pride flag over city hall to kick off pride week in San Francisco.

There are also some quilt panels hanging.

wow... the Quilt. It was SUCH a major part of my life so long ago. Volunteered there for years and went to DC many times (I think in 88, 89, 90 and 93) for it's big showing. How weird to see something that once meant SO much to me and now is just a half forgotten memory in my head.
