A friend colapsed at Sundance

*Update* Ken passed away at the hospital tonight. :-(

You will be missed!



A dancing friend of mine, Ken Brandow, colapsed tonight at Sundance Saloon while line dancing. I turned around to dance facing him and he was on the floor passed out. A couple of people were around him already. I went to grab my phone from my bag to call 911, and someone was already on the phone.

The DJ (A doctor) and someone else administered CPR until the SFFD and Paramedics arrived. They continued CPR and other measured to try to revive him until they took him to SF General Hospital.

Sadly, Ken passed away so young. It is a great thing that he was doing something he really loved and I was so glad to know him!

i am really sorry you all went through that, but you are right in pointing out that he was doing something he loved, surrouiinded by friends.

I'm so sorry to hear about Ken, and for all of you that were there for this painful event. I thought about going and decided that it would be too crowded for my taste. I only knew Ken in passing, but he seemed to be a very sweet man. Hope you're taking as good care of yourself right now as is possible. Big Hugs!!
