So I'm not a reader

I have just started reading books. After high school, I did not go to college because I went into debt instead. I never got into reading. Hated reading.

In July, my dearest friend [livejournal.com profile] ufcub gave me a copy of Wicked, since he knew I was a show tune queen, and would be seeing the show in August. I read it, but it took me about 2 weeks.

I then read Brokeback Mountain, all 57 pages of it. Have since read it twice more.

Then I found out my ex girlfriend from NY had a book published, so I bought it and read it. Cruel Whispers - Starr Reina.

I have recently met a really nice guy named Michael James Grant who has 2 books out. The Reunion, and Black Flash. Both are mystery novels, and I really enjoyed both books. I totally suggest you get them. http://www.michaeljamesgrant.com.

Currently, I am reading "Son of a Witch". The sequel to "Wicked" I just started it today.

Will I become a book lover? Doubt it, but it is nice to have something to do during my weekly commute to San Mateo and back.

1 year down

1 year ago today, I started my job at CMP Media, LLC at Harrison and 2nd Street. It is a job I really like. I event told a recruiter who called me about another job that I didn't want to know about it because I didn't want to risk the possibility of leaving a job I am so comfortable in and ending up with a job I hate.

I have settled in nicely at CMP. People overall like me. They call me "The nice tech" It has its challenges which is a good thing.

SO here are 2 photos. One taken a year ago, and one taken a couple months ago.

Thanks again to [livejournal.com profile] redbackfur for getting my resume to the top of the stack.

Oh, for my 1 year anniversary, I got a free flu shot, and the inibility to remember which toner cartridge was cyan, and which was magenta.
