IBR Saturday Part I
Here it is. Saturday events. What a fun day Saturday was. Got up after a wonderful nights sleep with Richard. Went to get a bite to eat, then headed to Squares for Bears. What a GREAT time. All these cute guys learning to Square dance. Funny though how you get in a square with someone who has been dancing forever, comes across with this I hate everyone attitude who thinks he can dance sooo well, and then ends up angeling you in the total wrong direction, when you know you are going the right direction.
There was a hottie wearing a Utilikilt who I danced with and was fun to look at. There was also a cute guy from England who I was in the lesson with. He was very friendly. Actually too friendly for Richard to see. Richard got upset with all the attention he was giving me. Partially my fault, I should have been more attentive to Richard since he was there. I love Richard, and anytime he is upset because of something involving me, be it my fault or not, I feel soo bad. I love you Richard. Bravo to Andy for the awesome energy he put into the class. Big success.
After that, the contestants got together outside the Ramada at 1:30 to walk to the Powerhouse for the contestant/judge meet and greet. It was a good time. Richard and I took a couple country songs to do a little snuggle dancing. I got a chance to chat with the other contestants, and we were introduced to the judges. YAY, now we know who they are.
I found one thing very disturbing, and that was that one of the contestants set himself apart from the rest of us. Scott from LA. He wore a gladiator outfit. I did not see him being a separatist before, but I am told he was like that all weekend. I was really disappointed that he did not click with any of the other contestants. I know had I been a judge I would have made note of it and probably even questioned it at the interview.
After the Powerhouse, we headed to the Eagle for beer bust and to sell more raffle tickets. The sales were very slim, lot less people and with 15 people selling tickets, it made for slim pickins. I did have a good time and got to see a lot of people that I have not seen in a while.
After that was over, we headed out for a bite to eat at Subway with
fuzzygruf and Steve. They asked who I thought would win. I told them me of course, and was sure that Scott would not get anything. Steve was rooting for Scott because of how he sold raffle tickets. Hmm, if that was the case, it sure is sad!!!
Well, part II is on the way. Bear Da Bingo.
